IT Infrastructure Team Lead

Team Leadership & Delivery

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary infrastructure team, supporting both technical growth and operational excellence.
• Plan workloads, allocate resources, and promote collaboration across technical and business teams.
• Provide technical guidance for complex infrastructure initiatives and operational challenges.

Infrastructure & Platform Management

• Ensure the availability, security, and continuous improvement of core enterprise infrastructure services.
• Drive the lifecycle management of workplace technologies, identity services, server platforms, and cloud-based solutions.
• Support the implementation of modern technologies and automation initiatives.

Operations & Service Excellence

• Maintain stable and secure platform operations while ensuring compliance with internal standards.
• Work closely with operations teams to improve service quality, resilience, and efficiency.
• Contribute to incident resolution, operational planning, and service continuity.

Technology & Governance

• Participate in infrastructure projects and architectural decisions.
• Manage budgets and support strategic planning for the responsible service area.
• Foster innovation while ensuring sustainable and secure platform development.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Previous experience leading technical infrastructure or platform engineering teams.
• Strong background in Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Active Directory, Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, and cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Experience with identity and access management solutions.
• Proven ability to manage enterprise infrastructure within a highly available, security-focused environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.

• Experience with endpoint management and workplace technologies.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and scripting.
• Experience in large, complex enterprise environments with high availability requirements.
• Financial responsibility for teams, services, or operational budgets.

• Fluent German and good English.
